This was a collaborative work conducted during our fourth year in the B.A. Creative Industries program, by myself and my colleagues at Ryerson University, Ariadne Sophia Dunn, Abigail Gibbs, and Ioana Diana Teodorescu, under the direction of Dr. Lorena Escandon for her Creative Industries Research Methodologies course.

I lead the focus group we used for this report with Ariadne Dunn. Also, I was responsible for collecting online survey responses and collaborating on the actual final report writing. During this process, I acted as an organizer to help everyone keep a cohesive vision for our research. We conducted a study on perceptions of sexual harassment policies in the theatre industry. Using primary data that provided important insights to help to change the industry culture surrounding sexual harassment, as well as secondary research, we created our thesis. Overall, we found that Unionized actors had a better understanding of the resources in place to prevent, as well as report sexual harassment. The full research report can be accessed in the link below.
