Under the direction of Paradigm Talent Agency's Adam Countryman, my colleagues and I conceptualized and planned a hypothetical music festival with the potential to be the Coachella of the North. This was part of Ryerson University's Concert and Festival Management course.

I was responsible for contributing to the creative conceptualization of the festival and its line up, as well as determining the tentative location, target demographic, and marketing. Socially, I acted as an encourager during the idea generating process to help motivate my team.

Heat Wavve festival is targeted to young adults, approximately ages 19-24 years old. The ideal demographic would be friends or couples who like to party, dance, and enjoy live music. This atmosphere is accomplished through our star line-up of hip-hop and electronic music. The event would feature multiple female acts and Canadian acts, creating a diverse festival billing. The top-line talent headliners for 2020 will be Tyler, The Creator, Frank Ocean, Charli XCX, Tegan and Sara, and Loud Luxury. It will be branded as the beach party of the season to finish off the summer in style. The weather will be hot, so festival attire can be worn and people can enjoy being outdoors at our venue.
