Collaborative Event: The Last Call show at Toronto's The Baby G (Managing DEADVERYSOON)

The Last Call was a concert presented by Ryerson University’s RTA937 Business of Music II class, as a yearly cumulative end of year show. It was facilitated under the direction of Dr. Steven Ehrlick and featured five unique artists; DEADVERYSOON, Emma Cooper, Stefani Kimber, Majo, and Mason Vail! The show was held on Tuesday, April 9, 2019 at The Baby G club venue (1608 Dundas St. W. Toronto, ON) General Admission was $10 and this was a 19+ event. My group managed DEADVERYSOON, and I was responsible for being a communicator and note taker between the artists and other event planners, writing their professional biography, and managing their social media content.

My team consisted of myself, Denise Stancescu, Jonas Herting, Jaden Burton, Glodene Lee, and Labeed Bhatti. We scouted talent for the show, then found the immensely talented, Toronto-based hip-hop duo DEADVERYSOON. As their management team, we worked with the artists to develop their branding as an act, facilitating photo shoots, filming a pop-up show video promo, writing a professional biography, and managing all of their social media content for the month leading up to
